Tenant Termination/Exit Policy

Tenants will be terminated from the Technology Centre for:

1. Non-payment of rent and/or services fees.

2. Violations of lease and/or services agreements.

3. Failure to provide regular updated company information, including quarterly financials.

4. Failure to meet growth objectives and milestones.

The prospect of failing to ‘graduate’ is also a feature of the termination/exit policy for MTDC Technology Centre and, conversely, rapid expansion of tenant businesses may necessitate ‘graduation’ to larger premises outside the incubator.

Exit Interview

The graduation process will include a formal exit interview. Input for improving the incubation process will be solicited. The graduate will also be asked to sign a release form seeking their cooperation to continue providing the MTDC Technology Centre with information on their company for purposes of evaluation, marketing and database management.
